Giant's Propel Advanceds offer class leading aerodynamics and have won numerous accolades for combining comfort and responsiveness to match the wind cheating design. Aero road bikes are renowned for being laterally flexy, harsh to ride and offering poor feedback but by using Advanced grade composite and adding frame features such as the Powercore bottom bracket and OverDrive fork steerer Giant's engineers have breathed life into the Propel's aerodynamic chassis. Propel's have race geometry with a race fit and are designed for riders who put speed above all else. Propel Advanceds also come with an aerodynamic Vector seatpost and are RideSense ready accepting Giant's ANT+ speed/cadence sensor into the concealed chainstay port.
The Propel Advanced 2's componentry is based around Shimano's 105 22 speed groupset which is functionally difficult to beat. Super smooth shifting across the 11 speed cassette, precise front shifting and low weight make Shimano's 105 the benchmark in performance gear systems. Giant provide the Speed Control brakes to give excellent brake performance in an aerodynamic design. The Propel Advanced 2 is supplied with an 11-28 cassette and 50-34 chainset to help you on the toughest climbs.
If you are looking for a bike to up your speed on any ride, in a race or in a triathlon then the Giant Propel Advanced 2 should be considered.
PLEASE NOTE: This bicycle comes fitted with a Shimano RS500 Chainset as per the specification. Not the Shimano 105 chainset which is pictured.
