Pedal On is more than just a cycle shop, it is an experience! We enjoy our coffee as much as our cycling and are sure you will too. Take the time to enjoy our freshly ground coffee; the full caffeine hit of an espresso or something milder such as a latte or cappuccino.
There are always many sociable, like minded, cyclists around for a good chat, or you can watch the latest live cycling action on our huge plasma screen. |

The Perfect Coffee
Take seven grams of freshly ground coffee, pass through 50-60ml of water at 9 bar and you are on the way to a good shot of espresso, the basis for all coffee drinks. The extraction time is critical, between 17 and 23 seconds (sweet to strong). This is all controlled by balancing coffee grind, tamping pressure and water volume. A complicated skill, but worth getting right! |
