The Giant TCX Advanced Pro 1 offers a Shimano Ultegra 22 Di2 speed electronic gropuset with RS785 hydraulic disc brakes and a CXR1 wheelset as upgrades over the TCX Advanced Pro 2.
Giant's TCX Advanced Pro platform has been designed for World Cup cyclocross racing and is a full on, no compromise, race bike designed specifically for disc brakes. The superlight, sub 1050gram, Advanced composite frameset is designed to have efficient power transfer, great vertical compliance, good mud clearance and to be easy to shoulder. The D-Fuse SL composite seatpost further enhances ride quality with its controlled flex. The TCX Advanced Pro 1 uses a full composite OverDrive 2 fork with a 15mm through axle for amazing handling and a forgiving ride.
The groupset of the TCX Advanced Pro 2 is a Shimano Ultegra Di2 system running on a cyclocross specific Rotor single ring chainset. The Di2 shifting system not only provides perfect gear shifting every time but is perfect for the rigours of cyclocross needing minimal maintenance and being fully sealed. Shimano Di2 shift levers are marries to RS785 hydraulic brake calipers for amazing braking in all conditions. Giant's CXR1 wheelset uses through axles front and rear to maximize control and use tubeless compatible rims giving you the option of running without tubes.
If you're looking for an out of the box cyclocross race weapon with a World Cup level frame at its heart then the TCX advanced Pro 1 would be perfect.
