A system for pure speed.

Designed from the ground Syncros' new one piece wheelset is a miracle of modern carbon fibre techniques. Hub shell, spokes and rim are moulded into one piece producing one of the lightest wheels on the market with three distinct benefits - Torsional stiffness, lateral stiffness and low inertia all translating to a faster ride both in acceleration and momentum and better handling.

The unique spoke prestraining process used when constructing Silverton SL wheels results in a higher spoke tension than can normally be achieved. This results in a livelier wheel and a more responsive ride.

The Silverton SL's spoke weigh only 3.5g each but are 35% stronger than a traditional spoke. Being bonded directly to the rim and pulling to the opposite side of the hub they offer increased torsional rigidity.

Each Silverton SL spoke actually runs from rim to rim across the hub which means better carbon fibre continuity. This coupled to the way the spokes are woven at their intersections all adds up to much better torsional stiffness.

At 1290g the Silverton SLs are super light but with a rim weight of just 286g the mass is moved closer to the hub too resulting in much less inertia and faster acceleration.
