Giant's TCX Advanced Pro 1 offers a Shimano Ultegra Di2 drivetrain, Shimano RS805 hydraulic disc brakes and P-CXR1 wheels as upgrades over the TCX Advanced Pro 2.
Giant's TCX Advanced Pro platform has been designed for World Cup cyclocross racing and is a full on, no compromise, race bike designed specifically for disc brakes. The superlight, sub 1050gram, Advanced composite frameset is designed to have efficient power transfer, great vertical compliance, good mud clearance and to be easy to shoulder. The D-Fuse SL composite seatpost further enhances ride quality with its controlled flex. The TCX Advanced Pro 2 uses a full composite OverDrive 2 fork with a 15mm through axle for amazing handling and a forgiving ride.
The groupset of the TCX Advanced Pro 1 features Shimano's Ultegra Di2 drivetrain which is perfectly suited to cyclocross with perfectly accurate gear shifts in a system sealed from the elements. Shimano's RS805 hydraulic disc brake calipers provide excellent stopping power with brilliant modulation.
If you're looking for a fully loaded cyclocross race bike with a World Cup level frame at its heart and an excellent component package then the TCX Advanced Pro 1 would make a great choice.
