The Scott Scale 920 features SRAM Eagle GX-NX Eagle 12 speed drivetrain and Shimano MT500 brakes as upgrades over the Scale 930.
Scott's Scale has set the standard for cross country hardtails for over a decade. Renowned for their low weight, excellent lateral stiffness and vertical compliance, Scales offer everything you could want from a cross country hardtail. The latest Scale frame has been developed with the help of multiple World Champion Nino Schurter and already has World Cup wins to its name. With a frame which is optimised to its drivetrain, SDS2 shock damping technology, Boost hub spacing, new race inspired geometry and the latest carbon fibre layup technologies the Scott Scale retains its place as the very best cross country hardtail available today. The Scale 920 uses Scott's HMF carbon fibre and is moulded using Scott's IMP technology to eliminate internal waste material and create a super lightweight frame without compromising stiffness or strength.
The Scale 920 features 29" wheels with excellent roll-over characteristics. The big wheels are great for rolling over nasty roots and rocky sections, essentially making it easier to ride these conditions. Improved traction is also a key factor with the increased wheel diameter compared to smaller wheels as tyre contact to the ground is larger.
The Scott Scale 920 features SRAM's Eagle GX-NX Eagle 12 speed drivetrain components in a 1x drivetrain which gives you a huge range of gearing to cover all eventualities. Shimano's MT500brakes offer huge stopping power with a lightweight, controllable, action. Upfront, the Fox 32 Float Rhythm fork features 100mm of smooth suspension travel and is enhanced by Scott's unique 3 mode Rideloc lever which allows fork adjustment from locked through short travel to full 100mm of travel on the fly.
The Scott Scale 920 is a super versatile XC machine ready to race or to hit the trails.
