Description
The Trek Checkpoint ALR 5 is super versatile and suited to a wide variety of riding styles, including gravel rides, bike-packing and daily commutes. It features a high-quality build that will hold up for long, rugged miles on roads, dirt and even the most treacherous gravel. A wealth of features like nimble-yet-stable progressive geometry, loads of mounts, plus a GRX drivetrain make it easy to customise for your kind of adventure.
The Checkpoint ALR 5 features a stout aluminium frame with a progressive geometry that's stable at speed and efficient when you're grinding up a climb, hidden cables that won't interfere with bags, rack and mudguard mounts and integrated frame bag mounts, a 2x11 Shimano GRX drivetrain with lower gears for grinding up hills or through rough gravel, hydraulic disc brakes for all-condition stopping power, tubeless-ready rims and wide 700x40c gravel tyres for added stability and traction.
If the amount of adventure you can get per pound spent is a priority for you, you won't do better than Checkpoint ALR 5. Quality parts, a durable alloy frame and a wealth of features like extra tyre clearance and customisation options so you can confidently take on bigger, better adventures.
Please note: This model features tubeless ready wheels and tyres which offer a superior ride and less rolling resistance than traditional innertubes. This system requires tyre sealant to function correctly and this will be fitted in our workshop prior to despatch. The nature of this sealant means that the tyre may not be fully sealed until it has been ridden a short distance and therefore the bicycle may arrive with reduced pressure in the tyres. Please check the bicycle's tyres are inflated to the recommended pressure before cycling.
IMPORTANT: This bicycle is supplied without pedals.
