Description
The Trek Emonda ALR 5 disc offers a Shimano 105 R7000 groupset with 105 hydraulic brakes as upgrades over the ALR 4 Disc.
Trek's Emonda ALR 5 Disc offers carbon looks and handling at an alloy price point. Using Ultralight 300 Series Alpha Aluminium with Invisible Weld Technology and featuring a tapered head tube, BB86.5 bottom bracket, 12mm thru axles, flat mount disc brakes and internal cable routing this frame is fully loaded with performance features which combine to offer sleek looks, light weight and incredible handling. The addition of disc brakes offer better braking performance and extra clearance for wider, more stable tyres.
Using the geometry of Trek's highest-end carbon Emonda racing bikes, the Emonda ALR Disc gives you a ride quality that stands up in every way to far more expensive carbon bikes and responsive handling too. It climbs fast, corners on rails, and descends with confidence.
The Trek Emonda ALR 5 Disc is the perfect partner if you're just starting out or want performance on a budget.
Note: This bike features Bontrager's Tubeless Ready rim system which enables a straightforward conversion to a full tubeless set up. To complete the conversion to tubeless you will need to fit additional parts. This include specific rims strips (W548391), valves (W557651) and, appropriate tubeless tyres and sealant.
IMPORTANT: This bicycle is supplied without pedals.
