This Trek Procaliber 9.8 Red Smoke is available with our legendary Podium Point free accessory scheme.
The Trek Procaliber 9.8 is the champion of the family. It's a cross country hardtail made for riders who race to win, with a carbon IsoSpeed frame that soaks up trail chatter without sacrificing efficiency, a lightweight FOX fork that charges down technical descents and a smooth Shimano XT drive train.
Procaliber 9.8 is perfect for you if you're chasing the top spot on the podium, and you want a super-fast steed that's built from the ground up to get you there.
At the heart of the Procaliber 9.8 is a light and stiff carbon frame with trail-smoothing IsoSpeed, IsoSpeed, a weight-saving FOX Step-Cast fork with a remote lockout, a whisper-smooth Shimano XT drive train with extra-light extra-stiff carbon cranks, beautifully integrated carbon bar and stem, and extra-wide, extra-fast Bontrager Kovee Elite 30 carbon wheels with a Rapid Drive hub that gives you instant acceleration off the start line.
Every bit of this bike is built to fly, from the stiff yet compliant carbon IsoSpeed frame to the lightweight, high-performance components. It's an XC racer's dream hardtail.
Please note: This model features tubeless ready wheels and tyres which offer a superior ride and less rolling resistance than traditional innertubes. This system requires tyre sealant to function correctly and this will be fitted in our workshop prior to despatch. The nature of this sealant means that the tyre may not be fully sealed until it has been ridden a short distance and therefore the bicycle may arrive with reduced pressure in the tyres. Please check the bicycle's tyres are inflated to the recommended pressure before cycling.
IMPORTANT: This bicycle is supplied without pedals. Pedals for this bicycle can be selected for no cost using Podium Points™.
