Due to an increase in global demand for bicycles and the disruption in supply during the COVID-19 pandemic supply chains have become very strained. Lead times are based on factory and shipping schedules both of which can be disrupted by delays in component supply and shipping/port capacity.

The Trek Top Fuel 9.8 is a full suspension carbon mountain bike for riders who don't settle. Not for parts nor for one style of riding. It combines a high-end parts package with a low-weight carbon frame for one unbelievably fun rig that's fast on flow and fun to ride on techy singletrack.
Top Fuel 9.8 is perfect for you if you're looking for a do-it-all full-suspension mountain bike that's efficient and fast, but doesn't shy away from some bigger stuff. You want the added stiffness and weight savings of a carbon frame, but don't mind saving some money on the parts.
Top Fuel 9.8 features a light and stiff full carbon frame, 120 mm RockShox SID Select+ fork, 120 mm of rear travel with a SID Luxe shock and a SRAM GX Eagle drivetrain with an extra-low 52-tooth climbing gear. Plus, wide carbon Bontrager Line Elite 30 wheels with a 108-tooth Rapid Drive hub for instant engagement, Bontrager Line Elite Dropper and carbon handlebars.
Top Fuel 9.8 is a ridiculously fun carbon down-country bike with upgraded parts that give you noticeable benefits on the trail, like more speed from the carbon wheels and more grip from the ultra-smooth suspension.
Please note: This model features tubeless ready wheels and tyres which offer a superior ride and less rolling resistance than traditional innertubes. This system requires tyre sealant to function correctly and this will be fitted in our workshop prior to despatch. The nature of this sealant means that the tyre may not be fully sealed until it has been ridden a short distance and therefore the bicycle may arrive with reduced pressure in the tyres. Please check the bicycle's tyres are inflated to the recommended pressure before cycling.
IMPORTANT: This bicycle is supplied without pedals. Pedals for this bicycle can be selected for no cost using Podium Points™.
