Nothing beats visiting a great bike shop to try before you buy but we know that's not a practical option for everyone. As a highly rated retailer with decades of online experience, we're confident that most cyclists with some experience can have a great experience when purchasing at a distance too.
If you know the product you want, can establish the size you need and are competent with basic cycle maintenance then having a bike delivered to you can be a great choice.

If you are considering having a bicycle delivered from us then please consider the assembly and maintenance procedures you might need to undertake and if they're appropriate to your skill and experience level. After delivery, bikes need a couple of basic assembly procedures before they can be ridden this is detailed on our Bike Assembly page. If you are not confident you can do this safely, or do not have access to a competent mechanic then we would suggest you visit our store or buy from a reputable local dealer.
We make every effort to ensure your bike reaches you in perfect working order but it is normal that some components will require minor adjustments after the first few uses (e.g. gear/brake cables stretch, disc brake pistons become dominant etc.). We offer a complementary 6-8 week check up service to address these issues but this will require a visit to our store so might not be practical for you if you live a distance away. Furthermore, the bicycles we offer are all high-performance machines which need pre ride checks and minor maintenance procedures as a matter of course. Please consider if the required assembly/maintenance is appropriate to your skill level as this should form part of your purchasing decision.
