Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our catalogue, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Checkout" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order. We cannot accept telephone orders.

We can only accept orders from within the UK, some EU states Channel Islands. If you cannot find your country within the shipping section of the shopping cart menu then we can not deliver to you.

We accept credit card and debit card payment (VISA, Mastercard, Maestro, Delta and Electron). If you are shopping from outside the UK, place your order and your credit card company/bank will convert the transaction to your own currency.

We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped.

Every attempt has been made to ensure that the prices and details of products on this website are correct. If we find we have made an error before we despatch your order we will contact you to advise of any price or specification changes. If after receiving your goods, you feel the goods do not match their description on the website then please follow our standard returns policy.

Before purchasing a bike from us, it should be noted all bikes will require a limited amount of assembly after shipping. If you are not a competent mechanic we suggest you get an experienced mechanic to assemble the bike for you. If you are still uncertain about what this may involve please contact us.

Some bikes are marked as SPECIAL ORDER items. Please check their availability with us before ordering, we cannot guarantee these items availability. It may also be necessary to order these items specially for you - if so they would then be classed as a custom order and different ditance selling regulations may apply.

Some prices displayed on the website may vary from those in our showroom, this reflects the reduced overheads of selling over the internet. However we would suggest you visit our showroom to see all we have to offer and benefit from the advice of our expert staff. There are also many instore promotions which do not appear on the website, our aim is to satisfy our customer by offering the best combination of advice and price we can.

CANCELLING AN ORDER
You can cancel an order at any stage before we have shipped it. To cancel an order please call 0118 9821021 or email sales@pedalon.co.uk. If you cancel an order before we have shipped it you will not be charged. If you wish to cancel an order after we have shipped it to you please follow our RETURNS procedure once you have received the goods.

Shipping And Handling UK POSTAGE:

Christmas Shipping Dates: We have been advised by our shipping Partners, Royal Mail and TNT, that the last shipping date for orders to arrive before Christmas is Thursday the 20th of December. Please place your order before midday on the 20th to allow us time to ship your order. Please be advised that Royal Mail orders may be delayed by 1 to 2 days during the busy Christmas period.

We will ship FREE to all UK addresses, subject to your package falling into the specified weight limit, for this option we will use a selected Royal Mail or TNT courier service. This FREE option will take 1-5 Working days:

Priority Shipping:

The Priority Shipping option is ideal if you wish to receive your goods urgently and are happy to pay a £2.99 p&p charge. We will treat your order as a PRIORITY and use a first class/express delivery service to courier your goods. Typically we will used the Royal Mail or TNT, you can expect to receive your goods within 1-3 working days.

England, Wales and Selected Scottish postcodes: Priority shipping - £2.99

Northern Ireland, Scottish postcodes (HS; IV1-56; KW1-14; PA34,37,38,39; PH19-26,30-40,41,49,50; ZE), Isle of Man, Isles of Scilly, Channel Islands: Priority Shipping - variable charge based on iterm weight and courier charges. This is calculated when you add your item to cart and checkout.

By agreeing to our terms and conditions you accept that we can retrospectively charge you for extra shipping costs incurred from you selecting the incorrect shipping zone during checkout.

IMPORTANT: All bikes are assembled and checked over on site before being disassembled for shipping. For this reason bikes take 1-2 working days longer than our standard delivery times. Each bike has an estimated delivery time listed next to its specifc size.

EU POSTAGE

All EU postage is subject to a minimum £2.99 postage charge. Above the minimum charge objects are charged on weight per destination so you only pay what we are charged. This is calculated within the shopping cart and is displayed before submitting your final order.

Items under 2kg are sent via the Royal Mail and their European postage partners. This service is cheap and efficient. Items should arrive between 2 and 5 working days from their ordering date.

Items over 2kg (and bulky items) are sent via TNT Economy Express.
TNT Economy Express - Delivery 2 - 5 working days.
Delivery times depend on the location. Most major European Cities within 3 days. Due to the nature of this courier service, shipping orders over 2kg costs alot compared to postal services.

NOTE:
Some of our items will require signing for upon collection. Should no one be available to sign for the item it may necessary for you to collect the item from the nearest postal/courier depot. We reserve the right to charge for costs incurred during failed deliveries.
All delivery times quoted on this website refer to working days and do not include weekends or public holidays. We do not guarantee the service of our couriers. Unfortunately, the UK courier distribution system is not 100% perfect, a small percentage of goods may not be delivered in accordance with the service we have shipped them on, we do not offer compensation in this situation.

Delivery Schedule

Back Orders We do are very best to ensure we only sell things we have in stock. If an item is out of stock it will be displayed by the product or you will not be able to added to your shopping cart. In the unlikely event you order something we are out of stock of we will contact you as soon as possible and give you the expected delivery time and the option to cancel.

Tax Charges All orders to the UK and EU will be charged 17.5% VAT, unless the item is VAT free. All prices displayed on the website are VAT inclusive and you will be charged no additional taxes on the prices displayed with each product.

Items shipped outside the EU (Channel Islands only) are sold without VAT. (Note, some products such as helmets are VAT FREE and would therefore show no price reduction). If you require the Tax deducted please contact us as, at present, this will not be done automatically.

Credit Card Security The part or the web site that collects your credit card information is hosted by Secure Hosting. Secure Hosting are Barclays ePDQ preffered online partner. Your details are not held in clear text on any web site. The latest encryption technology (SSL) is used to enable secure transfer of your personal data over the Internet.

After entering your card details you will be forwarded to your card issuers website. As part of the 3D Secure system they may ask you to enter additional personal details to authenticate your card. Please be patient with these additional security steps, they are essential in our fight against credit card fraud.

Privacy Policy Pedal On do not disclose buyers' information to third parties. Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected an item, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the 'Remember Me' Option.Data collected by this site is used to:
a. Take and fulfill customer orders
b. Administer and enhance the site and service
c. Only disclose information to third-parties for goods delivery purposes

Returns Policy If you have received a product from us that is either faulty or unwanted you MUST fill in our returns form. This is available in the returns section.

We are happy to refund or replace any unwanted goods or goods that are the incorrect size/colour, provided the returned goods are in an unused and saleable condition. In line with the UK Distance Selling Regulations we are entitled to charge you for any costs incured during the original shipment of goods to you. If we choose to enforce this charge we will typrically charge for OUR original postage cost of the item, or in the event of a bike shipment there will be a small packing charge too. (e.g. for a GB bike shipment return charge - £30)

If you are returning goods to us it is your legal responsibilty under Distance Selling Regulations to take good care of the goods regardless of whether the return is due to our fault or yours. This means that any returned goods must be adequaltely packed to protect them from damage during transit. In the case of returned bicycles you will be required to pack the bike in a box as it was delivered to you and ensure that all parts within the bicylce box are secured and protected from eachother, should you require advice on this please call.

If you have received discounted goods as part of a sales package we will only be able to offer a refund if ALL the goods are received in a resaleable condition, we will be happy to replace a component of an order should that prove to be faulty.

Postage refunds, Immediate faults:
If your product has developed a fault within the first two weeks of purchase we consider this an IMMEDIATE FAULT. If it is established that the goods are faulty we will send you a replacement or repaired product free of charge and also refund your postage costs. The refunded postage amount will be based on the amount we would pay to ship the item to you on the shipping service selected with your initial order. If you decide you do not want a replacement item we will refund the good's original total but not refund your postage costs.

Postage refunds, Warranty faults:
Any product which develops a fault after two weeks of purchase is considered a WARRANTY FAULT. All our products are from official suppliers and are covered by their respective manufacturers UK warranty. We will act as the agent for the relevant manufacturer during your warranty claim. In the event that the manufacturer of your goods accepts a fault is covered by their warranty of we will either repair or replace the goods in accordance with the manufacturer's findings and guidance. We will not refund postage costs for warranty faults.
