Description
This Trek Supercaliber SL 9.7 Gen 2 Power Surge is available with our legendary Podium Point free accessory scheme.
The second-generation Supercaliber frame is completely redesigned for more capability without sacrificing any speed. Travel has been increased from 60 mm to 80 mm in the rear and the front suspension got a bump up from 100 mm to 110 mm. In addition to the extra suspension, the geometry has been updated with a slightly longer reach and slacker head tube angle.
The Supercaliber SL 9.7 AXS is a carbon XC mountain bike built for rocketing over singletrack and scorching the way to the finish line. It's built with a carbon frame that balances stiffness with compliance for power when you need it most, while IsoStrut rear suspension gives you just enough squish to soften the blow through the rough terrain peppering modern XC courses. It comes ready to rip with a fully wireless 12-speed SRAM GX AXS transmission for precise shifting - even under load.
Featuring an SL OCLV Mountain Carbon frame with modern XC geometry. 110 mm of front suspension from a RockShox Reba RL fork with SoloAir spring and Motion Control damper and 80 mm of IsoStrut rear suspension from a RockShox SIDLuxe shock - all with remote lockout. A fully wireless SRAM GX AXS 12-speed electronic transmission, OCLV carbon handlebars, Bontrager Line Dropper post, Bontrager Kovee Comp 25 tubeless-ready wheels and SRAM Level Bronze 2-piston hydraulic disc brakes.
Supercaliber SL is perfect if you're into fast trails or XC racing. It's bred for cross-country, with modern race geometry and just enough supple suspension to smooth out the rough stuff and keep you hammering.
Please note: This model features tubeless ready wheels and tyres which offer a superior ride and less rolling resistance than traditional innertubes. This system requires tyre sealant to function correctly and this will be fitted in our workshop prior to despatch. The nature of this sealant means that the tyre may not be fully sealed until it has been ridden a short distance and therefore the bicycle may arrive with reduced pressure in the tyres. Please check the bicycle's tyres are inflated to the recommended pressure before cycling.
IMPORTANT: This bicycle is supplied without pedals. Pedals for this bicycle can be selected for no cost using Podium Points™.
IMPORTANT: This bicycle requires a suspension pump to set and tune its suspension correctly. This is not included as standard. A suspension pump can be selected for no cost using Podium Points™.
