Description
This Trek Supercaliber SLR 9.8 GX AXS Gen 2 Carbon Red Smoke is available with our legendary Podium Point free accessory scheme.
The second-generation Supercaliber frame is completely redesigned for more capability without sacrificing any speed. Travel has been increased from 60 mm to 80 mm in the rear and the front suspension got a bump up from 100 mm to 110 mm. In addition to the extra suspension, the geometry has been updated with a slightly longer reach and slacker head tube angle.
The Supercaliber SLR 9.8 GX AXS is an ultra-light carbon XC mountain bike that's ready to lay down rubber on race day. Its SLR Mountain Carbon frame is as light as it is meticulous, with a high modulus lay-up that gives you all the stiffness you crave, and none of the weight. XC courses get rowdier every year, so it's equipped with a 110 mm fork and 80 mm of IsoStrut rear suspension to smooth your roll without kicking pedalling efficiency to the wind. It's all topped off with carbon wheels, a carbon cockpit and SRAM's wireless GX AXS Transmission.
Featuring a featherweight, high-modulus SLR OCLV Mountain Carbon frame with modern XC geometry. 110 mm of front suspension from a RockShox SID fork with DebonAir spring and Rush RL damper and 80 mm of IsoStrut rear suspension from a RockShox SIDLuxe shock - all with remote lockout. A fully wireless SRAM GX AXS 12-speed electronic transmission, Bontrager Kovee Elite 23 carbon wheels, carbon Bontrager RSL Integrated bar/stem combo, Bontrager Line Dropper post and SRAM Level Bronze 4-piston hydraulic disc brakes.
The Supercaliber SLR 9.8 GX AXS is bred for racing and comes from a pedigree of champions. You get Trek's top carbon XC full-suspension frame dripping with carbon components and a fully-wireless group set that keeps going after the cows come home.
Please note: This model features tubeless ready wheels and tyres which offer a superior ride and less rolling resistance than traditional innertubes. This system requires tyre sealant to function correctly and this will be fitted in our workshop prior to despatch. The nature of this sealant means that the tyre may not be fully sealed until it has been ridden a short distance and therefore the bicycle may arrive with reduced pressure in the tyres. Please check the bicycle's tyres are inflated to the recommended pressure before cycling.
IMPORTANT: This bicycle is supplied without pedals. Pedals for this bicycle can be selected for no cost using Podium Points™.
