Founded in 1958 as a ski company Scott entered the World of cycling in 1986 with their first mountain bike. Scott's first high profile cycling invention was the revolutionary aero handlebar used by Greg Lemond to win the 1989 Tour de France. Through the mid nineties Scott continued to push the boundaries of cycling with the introduction of stand out products such as Unishock, Endorphin and G-Zero. Through this period Scott pushed the boundaries of carbon composite development and are today known as the Carbon Experts having developed so many class leading lightweight products such as Scale, Spark, CR1 and Addict.
Whilst having operated under the name of Scott USA for a few years Scott Sports are actually a 100% Swiss company. Headquartered near the mountains in Givisiez, Scott products exude the qualities of precision and quality that you'd expect from the land of fine watches.

Scott's Spark RC is the winningest full suspension XC bike to date. From Olympics to World Cups, the Spark RC has a pedigree like no other. The internal shock design brings practical benefits but is also a strikingly good on the eye.
Being designed for modern World Cup courses with 120mm travel front and rear, the Spark RC also doubles as a great lightweight trail bike which is ready to handle some gnarl.

Scott's Spark down country bike takes all the expertise used to build the Spark RC and increases front travel to 130mm front for even more technical capability. This means you get all the efficiency and low weight of Scott's XC racer with the technical capacity of a true down country bike.
Scott Spark is available in both carbon composite and aluminium alloy frame designs.
Spark is offered in an ST, Super Trail, version which has more front travel and a more gravity focussed specification.
