Pedal On Cyclo Cross Race

Sunday 11th October 2026 - Milestones Museum, Basingstoke, RG22 6PG

Our annual cyclocross race is due to take place on Sunday October 11th at Milestones Museum in Basingstoke. We first visited this fantastic venue in 2025 and the event was an instant hit. The compact course offers exciting racing with a unique urban feel. Spectating is easy too with the whole course visible from central vantage points. We're extremely grateful to Milestones Museum and Hampshire Cultural Trust for letting us use their land and we're also looking forward to eating more of the great food from their cafe.

This is an event that's suitable for cyclists of all abilites and you don't need any previous experience to take part, you don't even need a cyclocross bike, Gravel bikes and MTBs are welcome too.

Cyclocross is probably the most accessible and safest of cycling disciplines which makes it ideal for beginners and children. If you've ever thought of giving bike racing a go then this is the place to do it. You'll find a real mix of abilities competing in the league events and everyone is welcome.

Entries will be available via British Cycling's website. Pre entries close on Tuesday the 6th of October. Entry on the day will be available, cash only.

This event will be run under British Cycling and Wessex League regulations.

If you're not familiar with the local area, Milestones Museum is at Basingstoke's Leisure Park. Milestones is a living history museum and is a great day out for all of the family. The Leisure Park also offers swimming, ice skating, bowling, indoor skydiving, a cinema and fast food restaurants. Why not make a day of it and stay on for another activity after your race?
