Description

Giant's Contend AR builds on the popularity and success of Contend but with more capabilities for riding on rough roads. With disc brake integration and added frame and fork clearance (up to 38C) there's the additional control and comfort required to tackle any road.

Built around a lightweight ALUXX aluminium frame with a full composite fork the Contend AR has an incredibly light fuselage. The full composite front fork gives a smooth ride whilst at the rear a D-Fuse composite seatpost dampens road vibrations producing a more enjoyable ride experience and minimising fatigue. The disc brake integration is seamless and includes flat mounts and 12mm front and rear thru-axles for more consistent braking power and better control, even in wet weather and on rough roads. Gear cables are also integrated for a super slick look.

The Contend AR's geometry has been designed to produce a balanced, all-rounder feel that blends confident rider positioning with agile cornering and acceleration. This is a true all-rounder for road riders who have a thirst for adventure.
