The all-new Scott Addict RC at Pedal On

The all-new Scott Addict RC at Pedal On

Speed becomes instinct. The all new Scott Spark RC

The Scott Spark RC turns intent into momentum. Commitment into speed. Every pedal stroke chases time. Created for the demands of modern World Cup racing, every detail brings rider and machine closer together.

Nothing distracts. Nothing interrupts.

Speed starts with control. The Scott Spark RC is engineered to create grip, hold lines, and stay predictable when the terrain pushes back. The frame operates as a complete system – controlled flex and stiffness work together seamlessly across the entire frame to improve grip, traction, line control, and overall efficiency. That balance is felt most clearly where confidence is won: at the tyre contact patch, when cornering, and under load. The effect is a bike that feels responsive, predictable, and calm enough to let you commit. When the bike stays composed, you spend less energy correcting it. That means clearer feedback, more trust in the line choice, and more speed you can actually carry.

A lightweight, composed frame is not the result of compromise. It comes from deliberate engineering. With an optimized shock placement providing an ultimate low center of mass, we directly enhance ride feel by improving stability, cornering precision, and overall control. The bottom bracket area is reinforced to handle pedaling loads efficiently, while the shock is protected from dirt, water, and impact. This helps suspension performance stay consistent over time, not just on the first lap. The outcome is simple: low weight you can feel where it matters most, in acceleration, control, and repeatable race performance.

Lightweight design

Lightweight design

The new Spark RC is one of the lightest new generation 120mm xc race bikes available while at the same time including performance enhancing features and capabilities. Lightweight efficiency defines the foundation of this frame. It is not a design driven by chasing the lowest possible number on a scale, but by the pursuit of meaningful weight distribution that directly translates into performance on the trail and racetrack. Every gram removed has a purpose, and every structural decision is measured against stiffness balance and long-term reliability.

Ride Dynamics

Ride Dynamics

Every detail of this bike’s design has been carefully engineered to maximize grip and traction, to maintain stability, and give riders the confidence to push harder and ride faster. Ride dynamics are about speed through control, it’s about grip and stability. The Spark RC frame is engineered as a complete system, where controlled flex enhances both grip, line control and efficiency. Lateral, vertical, and torsional flex are carefully tuned across the entire frame to work together seamlessly. The result is a bike that feels responsive, predictable, and fast on any terrain.

Easy Access

Easy Access

Service and suspension setup are intuitive thanks to the accessible frame with top and rear frame covers. These magnetic and clipped covers provide easy access to the shock and interior, making workshop service fast and hassle-free. Both frame covers are sealed to protect the shock from dirt and water ingress. When running a split top cover, especially in combination with electronic shocks, dust and moisture entering the frame is unavoidable. To address this, a large drain hole in the frame efficiently evacuates any accumulated water. The shock shaft and seals remain fully protected, ensuring long-term consistent suspension performance in all conditions.

Full Shock Compatibility

Full Shock Compatibility

Suspension compatibility has been key. The Spark RC is designed to work in perfect synergy with its provided suspension setup. The supplied shocks further come with a custom tune optimized for the Spark RC platform, ensuring peak performance out of the box. At the same time, riders who prefer their own suspension setup can fit any standard XC shock, providing full compatibility and flexibility. Additionally, the Spark RC features an easy to use sag and travel indicator.

Low Center of Mass

Low Center of Mass

Through an optimized frame layout and advanced kinematic design, the shock is positioned as low as possible within the chassis. This allows structural carbon material to be removed precisely where it no longer contributes to performance. With the shock placement optimized, mass is centralized and kept low in the frame — directly enhancing ride feel by improving stability, cornering precision, and overall control.

Unlimited Dropper Insertion

Unlimited Dropper Insertion

Fit and dropper setup are also optimized for modern XC riders. A specially designed bottle cage mount adapter moves the threads outside the frame, allowing full dropper insertion. While dropper posts with up to 150mm are specified on size medium, all framesizes fit at least a 150mm dropper post. The new Spark RC platform supports long-travel droppers up to 200 mm on larger frame sizes, while maintaining a low seat height. This allows riders to lower their weight and shift laterally more easily, fine-tuning balance, preserving grip, and staying fully in control on the most technical descents.

Double Sided Bearings

Double Sided Bearings

Scott doubled down on durability with bigger double-sealed bearings that guarantee a smooth suspension for way longer. Less maintenance, more trail time. Ceramic Speed SLT bearings with a lifetime warranty are featured on HMX SL and HMX frames, while HMF frames are equipped with stainless steel bearings.

Syncros OCT – Octopus Cable-Routing Technology

Syncros OCT – Octopus Cable-Routing Technology

As the frame and cockpit are engineered as a complete system, the internal cable management requires a solution that matches this level of innovation. The patented Syncros OCT, the Octopus Cable-routing Technology, is a system born to redefine cable routing in the mountain bike industry.
The headset acts as the central hub of the system, where each cable enters its own dedicated, color-coded duct, making setup intuitive and eliminating any risk of error from the very first build.
From there, the ducts travel through the interior of the frame, routing every cable precisely inside the down tube to anchor points where directly accessible when the shock cover is opened. From these anchor points, cables run easily to their destination in a secure and well organized way.
The result is a cleaner frame, effortless serviceability, and a system that is virtually impossible to get wrong. The routing system is fully compatible with most aftermarket XC shocks, avoiding proprietary lock-in and offering maximum flexibility for upgrades.

Save the Day Kit + Tool

Save the Day Kit + Tool

Storage, protection and integration are also key considerations. Select models, including RC Pro, include Save-the-Day storage, capable of carrying a storage bag with a pump, tube and tire levers, and so riders are prepared for almost anything on the trail.
When the DT cover is opened, the integrated tool is easily accessible next to the shock in a dedicated mount. This tool allows all adjustments required for daily use on the bike: a 6 mm hex for the axle, a T25 Torx for additional fine-tuning, and depending on the model, a 3 mm or 2.5 mm hex for shock adjustments.
