Should you find your crankset is affected by this notice please get in contact with our store to arrange an inspection. To carry out an inspection we will need your bicycle or chainset brought to our store. If this isn't convenient for yourself then you should be able to have an inspection undertaken at any Shimano Dealer regardless of where you purchased the crankset.
In the event your crankset fails the inspection, Shimano will supply a replacement.
We recommend all riders check if their cranksets are affected by this notice immediately and, if necessary, have an inspection undertaken because the bonding separation issue represents a rider safety concern.
