Description

The Rail+ 9.8 is a carbon enduro e-MTB made for chasing after distant peaks and hammering out laps. With 160 mm front and rear travel, it's ready to rip through the rough, and it's backed by a powerful Bosch Performance CX drive system that makes long climbs and fast laps a breeze. It packs in adjustable geometry that lets you customise your bike for how and where you ride, a massive battery that keeps you going lap after lap, and a Shimano XT drivetrain that keeps shifts clean and reliable.

The Trek Rail+ 9.8 features an OCLV Mountain Carbon frame with Bosch Performance CX system (85 Nm, 250 W) and a massive 800 Wh RIB 2.0 removable integrated battery. A 160 mm RockShox ZEB Ultimate fork with DebonAir spring and Charger 3 RC2 damper, and RockShox Super Deluxe Ultimate rear shock. Tubeless Ready Bontrager Line Comp 30 wheels, a 12-speed Shimano XT drivetrain, 4-piston Shimano XT hydraulic disc brakes and an internally-routed dropper post.

The Rail+ 9.8 is ready for epic rides that take you far beyond the beyond. With plenty of travel for rowdy terrain, a powerful motor for crushing big climbs, and a massive battery that keeps you going mile after mile, this beast of a bike is built for it all.

Please note: This model features tubeless ready wheels and tyres which offer a superior ride and less rolling resistance than traditional innertubes. This system requires tyre sealant to function correctly and this will be fitted in our workshop prior to despatch. The nature of this sealant means that the tyre may not be fully sealed until it has been ridden a short distance and therefore the bicycle may arrive with reduced pressure in the tyres. Please check the bicycle's tyres are inflated to the recommended pressure before cycling.

Please note: This model offers electric assistance up to speeds of 25kph (15.6mph).

Important Note: This bicycle requires a suspension pump to set and tune its suspension correctly. This is not included as standard. A suspension pump can be selected for no cost using Podium Points™.
