Description
This World Cup XC derived flyer pairs flexpoint pro suspension with a superlight composite frame and race ready geometry. Designed for the latest generation of World Cup XC courses the Anthem has the capacity to tackle the most challenging of XC trails meaning it's as at home on a gnarly trail as it is on the race track.
The next-generation Advanced composite mainframe and rear swingarm is 250g lighter than previous version. The bottom bracket area is stiffer for faster acceleration, and a steeper seattube puts the rider in an efficient, front-forward climbing position.
All-new FlexPoint Pro suspension delivers 100mm of smooth, active rear travel. The reengineered frameset features modern XC geometry including a slacker 67.5-degree headtube and 110mm suspension fork for technical descents. The linkage-driven, single-pivot FlexPoint Pro rear suspension makes room for shorter chainstays to improve climbing capabilities and overall agility.
Frame geometry and suspension are optimized for larger-diameter 29-inch wheels. A longer reach and updated cockpit including a 35mm composite handlebar and alloy stem further boost balance and stability on XC terrain.
Featuring Giant's XCR composite wheel system, dual remote lockout, Maxxis Rekon Race tyres and Shimano's SLX shift components, this bike is race ready.
Please note: This model features tubeless ready wheels and tyres which offer a superior ride and less rolling resistance than traditional innertubes. This system requires tyre sealant to function correctly and this will be fitted in our workshop prior to despatch. The nature of this sealant means that the tyre may not be fully sealed until it has been ridden a short distance and therefore the bicycle may arrive with reduced pressure in the tyres. Please check the bicycle's tyres are inflated to the recommended pressure before cycling.
IMPORTANT: This bicycle is supplied without pedals.
IMPORTANT: This bicycle requires a suspension pump to set and tune its suspension correctly. This is not included as standard.
