Description
Trek's Fuel EX 8 is the perfect trail bike for most UK riders. A super versatile full suspension rig that makes soul-crushing climbs less painful, but can also huck rowdy trails. It hits the sweet spot of value and performance by combining high-end parts with a stout but light alloy frame.
If you're cool with your wheels leaving the ground, but you also like to go the distance on marathon singletrack sessions then this is the right bike for you. The Trek Fuel EX 8 gives you added efficiency with Shimano's latest, widest-range drive train and Trek's unique RE:aktiv damper that provides firm pedalling support without giving up any plush compliance.
Key tech includes; An Alpha Platinum Aluminium alloy frame, 140 mm FOX Rhythm 34 fork and 130 mm of rear travel with an extra-efficient RE:aktiv damper. A Shimano XT 1x12 drivetrain with an extra-low 51-tooth climbing gear, powerful 4-piston brakes, Bontrager wheels with a 54-tooth Rapid Drive hub for fast engagement plus a Bontrager Line dropper post.
Trek's expanded size range to ensures a better fit for all riders. You get the fastest wheel that fits your frame: XS frames get 27.5? wheels, S frames get to choose between 27.5? or 29? and sizes M to XL get 29? wheels
Please note: This model features tubeless ready wheels and tyres which offer a superior ride and less rolling resistance than traditional innertubes. This system requires tyre sealant to function correctly and this will be fitted in our workshop prior to despatch. The nature of this sealant means that the tyre may not be fully sealed until it has been ridden a short distance and therefore the bicycle may arrive with reduced pressure in the tyres. Please check the bicycle's tyres are inflated to the recommended pressure before cycling.
IMPORTANT: This bicycle is supplied without pedals.
